Tip #1: Receive notifications about threads

You can turn on various notifications by going to your profile, choose to Edit it, choosing the Notifications tab, and selecting the various forum and email options you want.

That way, whenever someone replies in a thread you participate in, you will receive instant,daily or weekly notification.

Tip #2: How to create a photo gallery

So easy! Go to the Gallery section and hit 'Create Gallery'. You will then be asked to give it a name. The board will automatically call it something like "Mary B's gallery" but you can easily change that to whatever you want.

Then click 'Add Image'. You will be asked for a URL to your picture. You can use any number of free programs like Pinterest or Flickr to store your images. To get the proper URL, right click on your photo and choose 'Copy Image Location'. Paste the image URL into the box here on the board. Make sure your URL ends with .jpg, .png, .gif or other common image file.

Then give it a short caption so we know what we're looking at. Go back to the top of the page and click 'Add Image' again to add more photos.
