Hi, everyone. I live in Sonora Cohousing in Tucson, Arizona.
I have moderated and hosted boards for many years. I was the wine forum host on AOL’s Food and Drink Network in the 1990’s. I hosted the first ever online live-chat interviews with winemakers. Wine forum host again and creative moderator for eGullet, working side by side with founders Steven Shaw and Jason Perlow, back when culinary stars like Anthony Bourdain, Michael Ruhlman, Alton Brown, Ruth Reichl used to frequent the site. Then I started my own forum, Cellar Rats, where I interviewed and did live Q&A’s with wine stars like Alice Feiring, Eric Arnold and George Taber. I later sold that site (for $1) to WineBerserkers.com, which is now the most popular wine discussion forum on the internet.
In my daily life, I am a full time freelance writer and editor. I worked in the California wine industry for 25 years, so I still have a lot of friends and family ties in that industry.
As our forum grows, I'll be looking for volunteer forum hosts and moderators. If you're interested in becoming more engaged in the forum, please let me know!
