Does your community have a publicist or outreach team, and what does it do?

We do! I am one of two Outreach and Communications people volunteering for our project. At the moment, I am the lead and coordinate project status updates every 2 - 3 weeks, post on Social Media, build project status FAQ - keeping on top of accurate information is a must. I also share information related to housing in our region and Canada in our social media. I also meet with members and potential members giving them opportunities to ask what they need and share what they are looking for. Co-housing is not for everyone and it is important that we share our collective understanding of co-housing.

I totally agree, Connie. I hope you'll find useful information here at The Cohousing Life, even though we're just getting started. I'll keep my eyes open for resources and template organizational docs. I think a reource repository is a great idea. I'll start one here that anyone can add to (right after I have my coffee and wake up. )
