There’s discussion today about a new report just launched in the UK about making cohousing more accessible and affordable. I’m not sure yet if the report will be made public. From the articles about it:
“The report draws on two years of seminars and site visits across the country. Researchers met residents of cohousing communities as well as activists, practitioners and academics from continental Europe, Australia and the USA. LSE collaborated with the universities of Newcastle, Leeds, Lancaster, Nottingham and Sheffield, and the UK Co-housing Network, to organise the project.”

I have emailed the LSE (London School of Economics and Political Science) and asked for a copy. The author of the first article kindly gave me a contact name at the LSE.
While I was checking out the UK site, I also found this interesting bit about available funding. I don’t think we have anything like this in US, but it made me wonder how/why these funds were created. There may be some logic in that which could become part of a value proposal, if anyone cares to delve into it. cohousing.org.uk/news/update-government-support-community-housing
I also like how the UK’s resources page is laid out into stages of development, and when you click on each stage it drills down into more blog articles on that stage.
